The knife main blade tang has " JOHN PRIMBLE BELKNAP HDW. & MFG. CO. " on one side and " 4954 " on the pile side. Depending on the source there could be a star under the pattern number which could mean it was made by Boker, but one reference claims that it would be Camillus. This one is either worn away or did not have one. It has brass liners with nickel silver bolsters. It has moderate snap and hits soft at the half stops. The main blade has a slight play when opened. Someone cleaned it up. I found pitting and dark spots with scratches. The pile side scale has what I think is a piece glued at the pivot side bolster. I will try to highlight it in the flash photos. It is 3 5/16 inches long when closed.
