The shown yixing clay teapot is made by using hei jin sha clay. Hei jin sha clay is a type of yixing zisha clay, it literally means black golden sand. This clay contains large Fe element, the Fe element turns to black color in high temperature. A teapot made from this clay produces a very dense, small melting point with a distinct double porosity. So it is suitable for brewing puerh tea and black tea.
