Can be supplied on the OFCOM UK (simple) frequencies - which require a 5 yr/£75 licence to be fully legal, these radios are chunky, solid and dependable. The output is high power and ideal for events, or activities where people need to stay in touch. One of our customers does events at country fairs and other community events and this is the spare set we ordered, but never needed.
