DESCRIPTION

This is a listing for a CAMBRIDGE GLASS FACTORY SHARD (also referred to as a cullet) from Cambridge, Ohio.  The glass factories would dump excess glass and other materials on property (Pre-EPA) and bury it.  There is an interesting story in Juanita L. Williams Fostoria book "Fostoria Glass Scares, Unique and Whimsies" on page 5 about the treasure hunt for glass Shards at the Fostoria Glass Factory grounds.  This large piece is Cobalt Blue (Royal Blue) and is circa 1930s when the Cambridge Glass Factory produced that color.

This is in vintage condition with some dust and general roughness, as seen.

This measures approximately 7" x 5" x 4".
