Aluminium cast integral polished handguard.
Blackened blade.
The word "PARACAIDISTA" (paratrooper) is engraved in the blade.
Green rubber hilt with finger grooves (some runs come with dark green or black/dark grey rubber).
It can be seen some aluminum burrs, and marks and holes in the aluminum due to the injection process of the handguard, these imperfections during its manufacture is typical in this brand.
Brown leather scabbard.
The leather can vary from dark brown to tan color, depending of factory's batch.
I always try to ship the scabbard showed in the photos from stocked knives, but not always the showed scabbard color is available from knife manufacturer.
The scabbard has a hilt strap with a blued snap button with Yarara logo, the throat is reforced with a leather sheet that gives the look of predecessors' scabbards.
New in the box, with guarantee card and instructions manual (in spanish, ask for a translation).
History of Yarara Knives: "YARARÁ" was born in 1990, with the creation of its first and legendary model "El Comando" (= The Commando), so called because its first destination was the CiaCdo(s) 601 Ejercito Argentino (= Argentine Army 601 Commando Coy), responding to the operational needs required in a timely manner.
Made by Yarará, in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Unlike its Erizo (Hedgehog) and Army Arsenal predecessors, this knife is made in a single piece of steel (hidden rat-tail full tang), it does not have the rat-tang welded to the blade, blade and the hilt are a single piece, giving more rigidity to the whole set.
The dagger blade has two concave bevels, double edge, with a serrated Spyderco type edge section, it is marked on the right ricazzo:
