A classical centrepiece, or tazza, by the renowned Eichwald pottery company made in the early 20th century in Bohemia (now Dubí, Czech Republic) in the ornate Art Nouveau, or Secessionist, style. The oval-shaped dish is decorated to match on both sides and the whole piece is in excellent overall condition. The inside of the bowl is a rich deep green ground and the exterior shades of purple ground with angular swept deep purple handles with fruit detail. The base is marked with the Eichwald name and numbered 2005.

Regarding blemishes, there is crazing in places not unexpected for a piece of this age. In addition there are four small chips on the base all of which are photographed. These are not very noticeable though again there are photographs to show how this looks.
