Heavily hand-carved Indian antique wooden seed drill.
One side has a floral motif, the other a depiction of a figure with an elephant trunk.  This could be a very stylised depiction of Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu God.
The whole seed drill is heavily carved with incised patterns.
The top has a hole, leading to the three holes in the base, for distribution of seeds.
Please see photographs for condition, and size against tape measure.
This seed drill can be re-purposed as a candle holder (candle included) without compromising its integrity as a piece of tribal art.
Weighs almost 2 kg (with candle)

A great piece of utilitarian agricultural tribal art!
