German Regimental Military Cavalry Beer Stein with a Horse Pewter Lid. It is porcelain with military scenes and says "Cur. Regt. Graf Gesslar Nr. 8 (Deutz.) 1906-09". It has a horse on the lid and a rampant lion thumblift. There are rosters in the back and a wonderful lithopane in the bottom. It is about 11 1/4" high and post-WW2. BEST OF ALL ...
