Circa 1850 California Gold Rush era survey map, "Geological Reconnoissances in California".  This map follows Philip Thomas Tyson's journey from San Francisco to the Yuba diggings, then south to Salt Lake, through the gold region to the Calaveras River, and west Livernore’s Ranch and Martinez - gold regions marked on map.  Truly a piece of US/California/Gold Rush history!  Very good overall condition, minor toning & minor staining - as evidenced by the pictures.  Would look great framed!
