DESCRIPTION

This is a listing for a Vintage FOSTORIA #2451 5 oz tumbler.  This type of glass is the Tomato Juice for the pressed ice dish, see the picture of the line drawing from a catalog.  The ice bowl could have been etched or plain, but the insert liner glass like this was not etched.  There were three different options to use in the ice dishes, a tomato juice, a crabmeat, or a fruit cocktail dish.  This could have been used with the patterns Fairfax, Mayfair and Hermitage as well as the master etchings Versailles, June, Trojan, New Garland, Manor and Minuet. This was retrieved from the Fostoria Factory after the factory closed.  This was made by The Fostoria Glass Company in Moundsville, West Virginia, USA.  

It measures approximately 3 1/2" in height & 2 5/8" in diameter. 

This is in very nice condition.
