Description:
A beautiful and colorful map of Egypt by T. Cowperthwait and entered into Congress in 1850. This map has great presence and nice original hand coloring! The map itself is set within a separately engraved and ornate border. A wonderful and curious map - would look tremendous framed and hung on a wall!
Condition:
Overall, very good condition. The map has typical wear commensurate with age - minor toning and staining (exactly as pictured!).
