This engine is in excellent condition, nearly mint other than that it has been converted to kadee couplers (scale couplers). These have been attached semi permanently (see images).
Although removable, the factory o gauge coupler was cut off to make room for the kadee installation. However, the kadee installed is an 805, meaning it can be connected to regular o-gauge couplers on engines and cars with no issues. Depending on the length of the coupler installed on the mating car, the minimum curve may be affected. It shouldn't be affected too much since they mount to the trucks, meaning the trucks will still navigate tight curves and allow for coupler flexibility.
All features (sound, smoke, motors, etc) are fully functional. With the exception of the factory couplers being replaced with kadees - this thing is in excellent shape.
