For sale is this beautiful 1978 Omega LCD Quartz watch. The watch reference 396.0850. This model of watch was released in 1977 at a time when lcd digital Quartz was a new and trending technology. This particular watch is keeping time well and in fantastic condition.

Case: Original stainless steel case in great original condition. The brushed finish has lightly been redone. There are only some small scuffs and patina consistent with the age.

Case back: Unpolished press down case back is in good condition with no scratches.

Dial: The dial is in great, original condition. The colour is really unique to this model watch and throws different shades of grey/blue in different light. There is no fading on the lcd digits and all functions work 100% as they should.

Pusher: The original omega pushers are in great condition and all work as they should.

Crystal: The watch retains the original factory omega crystal. There are some very small cosmetic marks along the edge of the crystal that do not affect the visibility of the dial.

Movement: The watch retains the original omega 1616 quartz movement. This movement has been cleaned and serviced earlier this year. The watch has just had two new batteries installed and all functions including the light are working 100%.

Band: The watch comes with its original omega bracelet. It is good condition with a few small cosmetic marks. There is little to no stretch. The clasp is tight and holds well. The watch is able to fit almost any size wrist.
