SATUETTE HELLENISTIQUE A TRACES DE POLYCHROMIE
Elégante statuette en céramique présentant une une jeune femme drapée.
Elle est représentée la tête de profil, vêtue d'un large himation. De la main gauche, elle tien un man de son vêtement.
Les détails sont fins, modelés en fort relief. Le vêtement est ample, laissant juste apparaître les pieds. le corps est empreint d'élégance.
Terre cuite à engobe et traces de polychromie.
Méditerranée occidentale, Grande Grèce, période classique, 3ème siècle avant J.-C., 
Dimensions : Hauteur 15,2 cm (16,7 cm avec le socle) - Très bon état de conservation - aucune restauration.

Provenance : Suisse, Galerie Genève.
Auparavant : collection particulière en Suisse constituée avant 1982

The details are fine, modeled in strong relief. The garment is loose, just revealing the feet. the body is imbued with elegance.
Terracotta with slip and traces of polychromy.
Western Mediterranean, Greater Greece, Classical period, 3rd century BC,
Dimensions: Height 15.2 cm (16.7 cm with the base) - Very good state of conservation - no restoration.

Origin: Switzerland, Geneva Gallery.
Previously: private collection in Switzerland established before 1982
