Sadowsky Guitars MetroLine 24-Fret Vintage Single Cut Bass Ash 5st (ALBS) [Special Price]

Special price for small scratches
A new sadowski made with Warwick's state-of-the-art equipment, Metroline's first single-cut model.

Roger Sadowsky's goal was to further improve the already very successful base design by making a number of detailed improvements. Together with the active circuit he developed, he was able to take the J/J bass sound to a new level. Manufactured exclusively in Germany, this bass has all the characteristics of a typical Sadowsky tone: clear bass, modern but not too aggressive midrange, and clear treble. This has been inherited by the Metroline series. This characteristic sound is also carried over to the 24-fret single-cut bass.

The single-cut model that has been popular in NYC for several years now also appears on the Metro Line. In addition to its innovative design, the single-cut shape creates a unique body and neck sound, and it stands out from the solid feel of other similar shapes, with an elegant design typical of Sadowsky, and a surprisingly compact design with a good fit. It has both. A sophisticated deep-cut cutaway that enhances playability, a 24-fret neck, a JB type PU with a hum-cancelling structure in the 60s position with a wider space on the bridge side, and a mid-boost (500 and 800 Hz) that was adopted in the Will Lee model. ), active circuit with bypass, passive tone control, treble/bass EQ boost, ultra-light tuner (peg), and original parts such as a bridge that produces good response. We offer world-class high quality in both sound and playability. In addition to playing a wide scale with 24 frets, the JB type PU reproduces Sadowsky's typical tight attack feeling without noise, and the single cut and deep joint provides a relaxed tone, as well as the active EQ combination for attack and powerful sound. The sound also embodies a more modern nuance, and it can be used with all kinds of music, regardless of playing style or genre.

After the Japanese-made model received high praise worldwide, the company moved to a model made at the Warwick factory in Germany, which became a hot topic of discussion. While almost inheriting the basic concept and specifications, the single-cut body was created by using hand-selected materials that take advantage of Warwick's strength of ``huge wood stock'' and a chambered body, which was not available in Japanese models. However, it has a lightweight body of approximately 4 kg. Please come and experience the new Sadowski challenge, which also includes a model directly related to NYC that did not exist on the previous Metro Line.
