Modernist torso in oak from the era of Le Corbusier and Jean Prouve. The 40cm tall sculpture is made of heavy oak wood, weighs approx. 1.3 kilos and has a wonderful patina. The posture is strongly reminiscent of Corbusier's Modulor. The overall style is reminiscent of Alexandre Noll. With a signature and date carved into the back of the base - probably 1955, as far as we can decipher. An authentic sculpture that wonderfully reflects the sense of form of those years. The base is approx. 9 cm x 14 cm. Wonderfully preserved. We ship worldwide via DHL with tracking. Private auction according to EU law, no returns. Unfortunately I have not been able to convey the beauty of the sculpture in photos. The sculpture was purchased in Paris at the beginning of the 2000s at the design market 'Les Puces du Design'.
Modernist Torso in Eichenholz aus der Epoche Le Corbusiers und Jean Prouves. Die 40cm große Skulptur ist aus schwerem Eichenholz, ca 1,3 kilo schwer und mit einer wunderbaren Patina versehen. Die Körperhaltung erinnert stark an den Modulor von Corbusier. In der gesamten machart fühlt man sich an Alexandre Noll erinnert. Mit rückseitig in den Sockel eingeritzer Signatur und Jahreszahl,- wohl 1955, soweit wir es entziffern können. Authentische Skulptur die wunderbar das Formempfinden dieser Jahre spiegelt. Der Sockel ist ca. 9cm x 14 cm. Wunderbar erhalten. Wir Weltweit per DHL verschickt mit tracking. Privat Auktion nach EU Recht, keine Rücknahme. Leider bin ich kein guter Fotograf und die Skulptur ist schwierig zu fassen, deshalb gibt es sozsagen mehrere Ansichten, wobei es mir leider nicht gelungen ist, die ganz Schönheit der Skulptur über Fotos zu transportieren.
