Hq. Sq., APO 237, PM San Francisco.
At this time APO 237 was the Headquarters
Squadron, 73rd Bomber Wing at Saipan,
Mariana Islands.

Wallingford is in New Haven County.
The Chandler Evans Company designed, manufactured, and sold aircraft engine fuel-control parts
to both civilian and military aircraft manufacturers. Chandler Evans’ aircraft parts
were used in Cyclone engines used by the United States Navy in their DC-3s.
Howard Hughes operated the Super Electra Lockheed 14 during his historic trip
around the globe, which contained CECO fuel/carburetor controls.
CECO engine parts were also used by the US Army in C-47s and B-25 attack bombers.
The company is now known as
Triumph Engine Control Systems.
There is a Wallingford receiving marking on the back,
Feb 24th 1945.
