Meb dominated the elite field and won the 2014 race in 2:08:37 - becoming the first American man to win the race since Greg Meyer's 1983 win.

Meb's full first name is Mebrahtom, which means "Let there be light." - How fitting that Meb's 2014 victory would bring so much light and joy to this resilient community.
