A good condition hardcover copy of 'Overseas: Experiences of a GI Abroad by Leverett Marsden Hubbard, Jr. This was privately printed at the Yale University Press in 1947 and was limited to 150 copies. This copy still includes it's original dust jacket, which is a parchment like paper. The dust jacket does have some tanning from age, as well as chipping, tears, and holes along the edges. The outside of the book is covered in navy cloth, which does have some minor rub wear to the bottom of the spine and some spots along the edges. There is embossed gold gilded text, as well as gold gilding along the upper outer page edges. Inside there is no writing or markings to any of the pages, as well as no bends or folds. There is some tanning to the endpapers. The book also appears to have been exposed to excessive Arizona heat and the front and back boards are bowed outward near the center. A copy with some wear and tear from age and storage, but overall still in very nice condition. Shipped via USPS Media Mail.
