A beautiful and all original stereo viewer made of mostly tiger and bird's eye maple woods which are highly figured. The delightful original finish is present on the wood. The only wood component that is not maple is the handle.

This example was patented in 1895 & is incised marked: "Pat'd Oct. 15 '95" on the top of the long extended wood section. The viewer has velvet lining at the edge of the wooden eye piece. It is equipped with two glass lenses and a wooded rail on which the stereo card holder goes back and forth to adjust the view.
