Scotland's leading power metal band, Gloryhammer, was formed 10 years ago by keyboardist Zargolax Dark Emperor of Dundee. It's actually Christopher Bowes of Zargolax, the hugely popular power metal band Ailstorm. Because he was such a gloryhammer, he immediately signed with Austrian giant Napalm Records. In 13, he made his album debut with Tales from the Kingdom of Fife. With their powerful and thoroughly symphonic sound and intense visual concepts, they quickly gained great popularity, especially in Europe. They released their second album, Space 15: Rise of the Chaos Wizards in 1992, and their third album, Legends from Beyond the Galactic Terrorvortex, in '19. He made that position immovable.
Gloryhammer will release their 4th album for the first time in 4 years. Titled Return to the Kingdom of Fife, their signature melodic power metal explodes. After all, it's a band formed by keyboardists. The arrangement is unusually symphonic. The speedy songs are accompanied by a flashy brass sound, fueling a sense of elation.
