"Sketch Of Rock Island Rapids" based off Captain Robert E. Lee's 1837 map of that region, following a stretch of the Rock Island rapids (one of two major rapids on the Mississippi river) showing Rock Island, Milan, Campbell's Island & Davenport Island.  Dates to the 1840s, it was part of a compilation put together by the US War Department's Bureau of Engineers, which was the precursor to the Army Corp of Engineers... Very good overall condition, minor toning, minor staining & pencil mark - as evidenced by the pictures.  Would look great framed!
