This original flyer / flier / ephemeral item is for R. Budd Dwyer’s campaign for Pennsylvania state treasurer during the 80s. It's 8.5 inches by 3.5 inches. The flyer is in excellent shape. 

Robert Budd Dwyer was a US politician throughout the 60s, 70s, and 80s. He killed himself during a public press conference on January 22, 1987, shooting himself, which aired on TV. 

“You deserve a leader,” it states, and shares an address for the “Friends For Dwyer Committee”. 

Dwyer served as a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1965-1971, as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate from 1971-1981, and then as state treasurer of Pennsylvania from 1981-1987.
