Despite this setback, all the mechanical functions of the turntable seem to be in good working order. The turntable turns as it should with no unusual noises. The "Cut Push Switch" causes the tone arm to lift and move back to the arm rest properly. The "Cueing Lever Button" causes the Tone Arm to raise and lower properly. The "Speed Selector Lever" causes the turntable to increase and reduce speed properly.
I'm no audio equipment guru or vinyl expert, but in my opinion with a good service, tone arm calibration, and possibly a new Headshell & Cartridge this unit would be playing high quality music again.
