A rare Belgium antique solid silver gilt and enamel souvenir spoon. It is marked with the 800 standard mark along with the makers mark SM. I would date it to c1910. It has been superbly designed with the bowl depicting King Albert I of Belgium with the terminal depicting the Belgium crest. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The enamel is perfect. It measures approx. 5 inches (13cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) and weighs 18 grams. A rare and interesting piece.
