This is a 1942 Horsman Bright Star doll with original tag.  She has been stored away for a long time so her clothing is wrinkled but not damaged (red one piece outfit appears clean with no holes, pinafore top is beige with some age staining but no holes.  Shoes are intact, one buckle is missing.  Her hair is in pigtails with "spit curls" on her forehead and gold clips on either side of her head.  Her hat is navy blue felt with light brown ribbon band, no damage.  She is entirely composition with no holes or cracks on legs, arms, fingers.  everything connected and moving as it should.   Some residual dirt from storage which I have not attempted to clean.  Her face has some damage, sleep eyes look almost cracked but are smooth to the touch, her mouth looks fine from a distance but up close, as you can see in the pictures, there is a small crack on her lips and some crazing on her chin (which I didn't even notice until the close up picture so it is definitely barely noticeable).  Her eyelashes on her sleep eyes (which work fine) are real, lower lashes and eyebrows painted on.  Overall, she is in pretty good condition for her age.  Not perfect, but no major damage.  Please view pictures carefully and ask any further questions as I am not a doll expert.
