DESCRIPTION

This is a listing for a vintage FOSTORIA GLASS COMPANY #6017 glass and an Art Department archive item.  This is a Juice tumbler with the original factory tracings of the #784 DRAPE Rock Cutting. On the paper, it has "6017 5 oz tumbler Cut 784 3 around".  This pattern has not been polished, as the completed item would have been.  This pattern started production in 1938 until 1943. These were retrieved from the factory after it closed.  The tracing was made by the design department, and the glass in the Fostoria Glass Company in Moundsville, West Virginia, USA.

The glass measures approximately 4 3/4" high by 2 5/8" in diameter and the tracing approximately 8 1/2" x 11".

These weigh under 1 pound and will weigh 1 - 2 pounds when properly packed for shipping.  Shipping costs are determined by the weight, size of the box and distance to the buyer.

The glass is in nice vintage condition with some tiny stray marks.  The paper is brittle, shows signs of age creases and handling, as seen.  It is not unusual for Example & Sample items, from the glass morgue to have permanent writing, be unfinished, have flaws or damage as they were not intended to be sold and were used for reference.

Please look at the pictures for the best view of the item as they are part of the description.  Please ask any questions before bidding.

If you don't pay, a non-paying bidder case is opened automatically by Ebay.
