Don't know much of anything about dolls - this was part of my mom's collection. Please read my whole description for the flaws. The mannequin like doll is 8"; from the bottom of the black lacquer painted plaster stand to the top of her hair she's a little over 9" tall. She's plaster with a layer of wax on top. Her feet and legs are attached to the stand & I can't figure out if they're a molded together thing or just firmly attached. I also don't know what's up with her middle 1 1/4". It's wound with what looks like crepe paper. I assume there's a metal rod between her hips & bust. Her arms are made of bisque which attach to her shoulders with a cork/wire arrangement. Her face is beautifully painted; her hair is grey mohair & still in the original 'do. On her back she's stamped 29.NG. . She's made so she has an interesting, modelesque posture. I've used Baitz & Munzerlite in the title for search reasons but I have no clue who actually made this doll.
FLAWS: the thumb on her right hand is BROKEN OFF and long gone. There's a scrape on the bottom of her left shoe (only visible from the back). And there's a place on her nose that's down to the underlying plaster (please see my photos).
I think she's avery unusual doll.
