This is my official "I GIVE UP" auction! 


Backstory: My best friend’s dad built this massive trading card collection over the course of his life (350,000 cards, mostly baseball). He passed away in 2019. 

In 2021, my friend and I decided we were going to go through everything, split everything up, get cards graded, do the whole thing and sell everything off. We had absolutely no idea how challenging this would be!!! After spending years just trying to sort through everything, neither of us have the time at this point to continue down this road. We donated a fair amount to charity and now it’s time to clear house! So here is all of the non-sports cards in one large collection!!


This huge lot features a wide variety of non-sport trading cards, including Marvel Universe, X-Men, Marvel Masterpieces, Spider-Man, and more! With over 8000 cards, collectors will find plenty of characters to choose from, including Deadpool, Wolverine, Carnage, Venom, Superman, Spider-Man, Avengers, X-Men and SO many more. The cards are made of different materials such as paperboard, card stock, plastic, etc, and many feature special features like embossing, holograms, and limited editions. The cards are sure to delight fans of all ages, with an age level of 4+. All of these cards have been protected in binders, sitting in storage for decades - a majority of the cards appear to be in NM-M condition with some ranging to fair. Plus a few extra promotional cards! 


All full sets and partial sets are protected in 9 card sheets and shown stacked in the pictures next to any chase cards for that set. I also took a few photos showing only the entire collection of limited edition chase cards. I put all the extra base cards (that are not in 9 card sheets) in team bags, boxes, and packaged everything in bubble wrap. I also sleeved any limited edition chase cards in single penny sleeves for even more protection!

On May-19-24 at 03:24:38 PDT, seller added the following information:

“1996 Marvel Masterpieces - 89 Base Cards + 16 Emotion Signature Series + 3 Canvas” is actually from the 1995 series. They’re in photo 8 at the bottom, in the middle in 3 separate team bags. It won’t let me correct the typo so I’ve added it here. Best of luck!!
