Vintage Mohair

Teddy Bear

 Germany c1950's era

This lovely Bear is a Germany Fellow
possibly a Schuco or
Richard Diem Bear.
He is approx 18 inches ( 45 cms ) tall.
 Teddy is a brown mohair Bear with
dark / black glass eyes.
He has quite a few bald patches. - see photos.
Back Centre seam has
opened up about 1 inch.
Teddy has a firmly filled straw/excelsior head
with a soft body and limbs.
He is quite a solid weighty Bear being
just under 1 kg.
A lovely early traditional
character Teddy Bear.
Ribbon is not original to him.
