The Cattaraugus Cutlery company made knives from 1890-1960's. I was unable to determine when this one was made since the only marking is a stamping on the face of the blade " Cattaraugus ". It is 9 1/2 inches long over all and the blade is 5 1/8 inches from guard to tip. I believe the tip was broken and it has been been redone. The knife has typical wear with scratches and scuffs. The handle is still firmly on the knife and the guard has slight play. The few of these I have found date it some between 1940-1960. The sheath appears to be original to the knife. Please study photos they are part of the description.
