This unique plaster model of a French road marker is a wonderful souvenir from the WW1 era, inscribed with WW dates 1914 - 1918, Yzer, and text stating in contains some earth from Yser battlefield, and it does indeed come with some sealed contents that can be heard rattling inside. Similar to the terracotta ones created by Gaston Deblaize, this is a fascinating collectable and a must-have for any militaria enthusiast. 

Please note this is a plaster model painted to look like terracotta.

Approximately 11.5cm tall, base is 6cm x 5cm and, weighs 125g.
