'Stealth' magnetic phone holder to fit the MK2 VW Golf & Jetta
These phone holders are designed in house and use a powerful high quality soft-coat magnet to hold the phone securely in position without damaging or marking the phone. Each kit includes a self adhesive metal plate that can either be stuck to the back of the phone, or slipped between the phone and it's protective case (note that a thick heavy duty type case may impact magnet performance).
Simply remove a blank button from the dash and push this in. No screwing, gluing or messing about with ugly mounts.
The mount has been designed to clear the dash, so while it mimics the OEM buttons, it does look different in order to function robustly.

Please note that installing a metal plate may interfere with wireless charging. The phone photographed is wireless charging capable and with the metal plate fitted it will continue to charge wirelessly with the plate located towards the top of the phone. I've personally been using this magnetic holder as well as others for 18 months without any adverse affects, however you may have different results.
