Fowler posted a 66-79 Win/Loss record in a 10 year career with the Athletics. His first appearance was in Sept. of 1941. He missed the '43 and '44 seasons while serving in the Canadian Army during WWII. Coming back in '45, he pitched a no-hitter against the St. Louis Browns. He retired after the 1952 season.
