Roseville Art Pottery Futura Balloons Globe Vase 404-8 GREEN Art-Deco Gorgeous!
Very Pretty FUTURA "Balloons" Globe Vase, shape 404-8, is a 1928 Art-Deco Geometric Design, a Globe resting on posts that terminate in a Trapezoidal base.
Gorgeous Green Glazes with Yellow, Lilac, Yellow, Blue Balloons. Rich Colored Glazes, none of that dark crazing or multiple corner repairs so often seen on the bodies of some of the Futura Balloons vases.
A hard to detect professional restoration on the rim (see last photos) no other cracks, chips, or repairs. Very few factory glaze pops or skips and very light crazing.
This vase STILL has the original Roseville paper label which is almost always missing, AND has the store label from Fitzgerald Book and Art" Holyoke Mass. store that it had when it was purchased about 100 years ago !
The underside is marked 404 in red crayon at the factory, along with the labels described above
Measures about 8 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches at its widest.
