SIGNED by author CLINE on pre-title page, with inscription to the previous owner! Stated first edition published by Mathis, Van Nort & Company in 1946. Hardback with dust jacket is still in very good condition. Hardcover boards are clean and square. Binding is sound and pages are unmarked, with the exception of light warping to the inside front endpaper. Dustjacket shows minor shelf wear with scuffing around the edges and light chipping on the top of the spine. Dustjacket is now protected in a clear, removable Brodart sleeve.
