Lot 2, April 18, 2024
Good day everyone, ni hao, konnichiwa and cheers to all.
We hope everone is doing fine today.

We are happy to be able to offer our valued clients another genuine antique Asian porcelain.
This one is a Japanese Seto ware, from the Seto region of Japan, celadon glazed planter with raised decorations of cranes in flight I believe.
This is of course a hand painted and glazed porcelain.  The planter is footed with round type feed.
These planters are from the first quarter of the 20th century, approximately 1920 or so.
The glaze on this planter is very thick.
There is a hole to release water on the bottom of the planter and a small hole on the inside of each foot, for the firing I believe.
Measures 7 inches tall and 7 1/4 inches across the top.
End
Thanks for visiting our sale room today.
