Vintage NeXT Computer N4000A MegaPixel Display Monitor

For Sale- a Vintage NeXT Computer N4000A MegaPixel Display Monitor Part Number 1403.  This is a monochrome CRT computer monitor for use with the NeXT Cube and NeXTstation computers that have a 19 pin monitor output.  In the pictures the monitor is attached to a N1100 that I assume has had the hard drive wiped.  That is for display test ONLY, nothing is included in the sale other than the monitor itself.  As you can see the monitor does work.  Again, nothing but the monitor being sold here, so if you need a DB19 cable those are being sold separately.

Given the age of the electronics involved there are no guarantees as to how long this might last before it needs to be repaired, and given the cost of shipping I am selling it for parts or repair only even though it does “work” as pictured.  I will NOT accept a return.  This monitor started off with a bit of a "queasy" display but quickly solidified and looks good now.  This one has probably been sitting in my warehouse unused for at least ten, maybe 15 years and may well have been sitting in surplus awhile as well.  There is some slight discoloration on top from where the surplus stickers were just removed, but overall it looks pretty good.

All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated.  Any testing done will be explicitly stated in the listing and any accessory items will also be mentioned or pictured.  If it isn’t pictured or mentioned you can assume it is not part of the sale.  Please check out my other listings for more vintage computer products, including a variety of other NeXT products.

Please add a $38.99 flat rate for shipping anywhere in the continental US (which does NOT include Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or APO/FPO addresses).  I will ship via the carrier and level of service of my choice unless we specifically decide on a favored carrier option.  I will, at my option, ship worldwide via USPS for the actual cost as determined by USPS.com.  The stand will be removed for shipping.

If the item listed requires a standard modular AC cord I no longer automatically ship those based on the theory that everybody has a box full of those already.  If you need an AC cord they are available on request as long as including one doesn’t compromise the packaging.  If you need one and don’t ask it’s going to cost you five bucks for me to mail one after the fact, it isn’t my fault if you can’t be bothered to read this far.  And please note, if you request an AC cord, it will be a generic one, not a “NeXT” branded one.
