I designed all of these Delta Rockwell 14" Bandsaw Throat Plates, which are 3D printed out of PLA+ plastic that is very durable and the color will not fade. The throat plate is meant for vintage bandsaws from the 1930's to the 1970's (and the 2005 model with the positioning nippled) as those were mostly unchanged in designed. There is a cutout on one side for models that have a pin in the table to locate the plate in place. However, once I started testing this throat plate in the four Delta's I have, I found out that the diameter of the opening can be off by the smallest amount and this will prevent proper fitment. While the official size would be 2 1/2" diameter, either through cutter wear or different factories producing the tables, the sizes are not consistent. I have been able to identify two different sizes, but there may be more out there. Most bandsaws will be 63.25mm but some will be 63.50mm (the 2005 model is one size only, 62.75mm). I recommend measuring the inner diameter of the hole using digital calipers, take readings from several spots to get an average. If you are somewhere in between sizes, you can sand or file the throat plate to get and exact fit. This is made in the USA by me, I am a small business owner, thanks for your support!
