Here is one of the Kings of the Black Eagle series, the mega rare Fr 233* STAR NOTE with Type 1 Face Plate. Fascinating story with these as they were originally Parker-Burke plates that were modified to Teehee-Burke very early in his term, and then all the rest of the plates made afterward had the number moved down to the base of the plate letter. This note has the almost never seen Type 1 plate 3635. The Murray star note book lists 27 known Type 1 in all grades, and this one has got to be one of the finest surviving examples. Even regular star notes command high dollar value in sharp XF grades.

This note is a stunning beauty, crisp and clean with no defects. PMG graded XF-40. Even boasts an attractive almost RADAR and solid middle serial number 6933359. Don't miss this chance to own a key of the series, as this is actually many times rarer than regular Fr 229a and 231 notes which command big bucks this high grade. There are so few out there you might be waiting a long time to find another one this nice. This is truly a trophy note to be the *STAR* of someone's collection. This note lists for $3,000 in the Murray book, the definitive guide for stars and varieties, not including any appreciation in value since the book was printed. Bargain pricing to move it quickly. Sent with signature confirmation. Give yourself that present you have always wanted this year :)
