Collection of 5 electric and 1 acoustic guitar necks. All either new/(never used) or used in very good condition. No warping in any of the necks. I've been holding on to these necks for about 20 years. It’s time to admit l'll never get around to using them.
As pictured from left to right: (Check update in last photo - Carvin truss rod cover found and #2 neck's nut in place).
Electric:
- #1. Carvin - new/unused, 6 inline, ebony fret board, 25 1/2" scale length. Made in USA. Nut not cut to final string depth by the Carvin shop.
- #2. Unknown maker - used, 6 inline (with unbranded tuners), minimal fret wear, rosewood fret board, headstock repainted (needs final sanding/polishing), 25 1/2" scale length.
- #3. Unknown maker - used, 3 on-side, rosewood fret board, no fret wear, headstock face sanded down to remove logo, 24 3/4" scale length.
- #4. Unknown maker - new/unused, 6 inline, rosewood fret board, no fret wear, 25 1/2" scale length. The neck heal screw holes seem off. I wonder if this was a "second" .
- #5. Aria - new/unused, 6 inline (with Aria tuners), reverse headstock, no fret wear, dark stained rosewood fret board, 25 1/2" scale length.
Acoustic- #6. Unknown maker - used?, 3 on-side with side mount tuners, no fret wear, rosewood fret board. Has a "zero fret". Constructed like a set-neck, but heal has finish and no marks of ever being used. Neck is constructed of 5 pieces making a lengthwise stripe. Mahogany.
