On offer here is this original 1960s Danish oak bookcase

Circa 1965-1970.  

Made in Denmark or Sweden sometime in the 1960s 1970s following typical Danish Skandi design with simple geometric understated elegance.  I bought it in Denmark, but it is very reminiscent of bookcases I’ve had from Sweden by Alf Svensson. it may be designed by him but he use paper labels which frequently come off so I can’t really attribute it to him. It doesn’t really make much difference to the value. 

it has a central partition which divides it into six shelves but the shelves themselves are movable to any height. The depth is 32 cm. The height of each shelf as they are 35 cm each.

Typical Scandinavian minimalist design very popular with contemporary taste standing on four metal legs. It has a lovely warm even colour would be grateful. Books records ornaments And would bring a lot of style to any room in the house.

Condition.

Excellent condition a few small scratches nothing I can really photograph. Please check all photographs carefully.
