TRIANG SPACEX / GOLDEN ASTRONAUT MOBILE HQ No.10 VINTAGE 1969 ORANGE & WHITE

You’d have to know to know these are Triang. The early ones simply say “MADE IN HONG KONG” and they don’t appear in any customer catalogues. They are mainly plastic with metal axles and some have some metal weighting (to stop them floating away in zero gravity).

The range had 4 different categories of vehicle: Earth Base; Space Station; Moon Base: Outer Space Travel

This unboxed example is MOBILE H.Q. (Moon Base No.10) all intact in orange, white & silver.

Its revolving radar dish is loose and the rubber tracks are too tight around the wheels to move.
