auction is for the VINTAGE 1990s GROUP OF (22) LAB-PRINTED 4x6 COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS OF BLACK MODELS ATTACHED TO 5x7-INCH GREETING CARDS SHOT AND MARKETED BY JAMAL BLAIR UNDER THE NAME "BROTHERS."
This group of photographic greeting cards is in EXCELLENT condition, although there are no envelopes for them, and they appear to all be marked copyright 1992 or 1995, so I can confidently date them to that era. At that time, they were selling for $2.50 each, but I suspect not a lot of these are in circulation. I do (somewhere) have some bio information about the photographer for the "Brothers" series, Jamal Blair, but I wasn't able to lay my hands on it in time for this week's listings -- too many "miscellaneous" piles. Sorry.
PLEASE NOTE that the scans I've shown are QUITE A BIT MORE TAME than most of the photographs in this series, but these are shown merely for reference and will give you some idea of the others in the batch.
