This listing is for an older GOODELL-PRATT N0. 448 US STANDARD ACME Thread Gauge: steel, case and test "finger gauges", tightening screws at the ends are in excellent condition, and except for the fingers on the large-tooth side, there is no rust, staining, or corrosion. All engraved or stamped text and numbers are clear and legible, the "fingers " are flat and straight.

26 test "fingers": one is the 60 degree standard test indicator, 25 are the thread test fingers... 2 1/4 TPI to 20 TPI.  The fingers on the 2 1/4 - 5 TPI side have some slight rusty stains on one surface only. The finer "fingers" are clean.

The closed unit is 3 1/2" X 1/2", and engraved:" GOODELL-PRATT COMPANY, GREENFIELD, MASS. USA, No. 448 US STANDARD" on one side.  The opposite side is blank.
