The Movement is a grade 951 Lever set,23 Jewels Adjusted to 5 positions & Temp. Double Roller, Isochronism,. The serial number is 750080, made about 1909 according to the Hamilton Serial number list. It has all raised Gold jewel setting above the plate, Gold Balance screws, a large Gold Jewel setting & jewel in the mainspring barrel, and a all Gold Gear train. The winding wheels have a matching wavy line circle pattern on them.
The Hamilton Ledgers show quite a provenance for this watch, went to finishing 5-20-1909,1st sold to A.L. Smith & Co. 1-16-14 returned and sold to The Non-Retailing 4-20-14 in Lancaster, then again sold to I. Allendorff & Co. 3-9-15. These records are available for NAWCC members viewing.
The 951 was a very limited produced grade with only 97 in Lever Set Pendant and 44 in Pendant set being made. The Lever Sets were upgraded 960 Plates redone to make the 951.
The Nice Factory Hamilton Double Sunk dial is enamel and is very shiny and reflects the light. There are no hairlines or chips or cracks, the Dial is like new . It has red 5 Min. tracks around the edge. The Hamilton factory hands look new.
The 14 K Gold Case by Solidarity Watch Case Co,is a 3 lid model with hinges. The case is in like new condition and the lids easily open and snap closed. The factory logo for the 14K Marking are stamped into both Lids and nothing on the dust cover,the dust cover has a engraved Circle pattern on it. The Crown & Bow are like new. There are no marks or dents, scratches on the Mint case. It has new Acrylic crystal.
