This auction is for a vintage art glass paperweight.  It was made from the ashes of the eruption of Mount St. Helen's volcano in Washington State in 1980.  It is a gorgeous iridescent purple with 3 swirling flared feathers around the body.  It is signed "Mt St Helens Glass 1981 G.E." near the base.  It measures about 2" tall and 3" across the widest portion of the body.  The base measures almost 2 1/2"  wide.  It is in very good vintage condition.  There is a few tiny needlepoint dots in the glass of the paperweight and what I think is part of the glass blowing with little short lines that are near the end of a feather.
