Spectacular in every way, this exceptionally nice gown from the 40s is a rare find. I've had it for at least a dozen years, like many of the better vintage pieces I own.  Acetate taffeta, unlined, snaps and hooks and eyes at back closure. Mild underarm discoloration as shown in the last 2 photos.

Plunge neckline, hand smocked embellishment at midriff and puffed sleeves. Beautiful two color sash, generously full danceable skirt. I detect no snags and fabric appears strong. Garment measurements are bust 37", waist 28", shoulder to hem 55". Nonsmoking, no pets.
