For sale is my wife's 2000 VW Beetle Automatic 2.0L Petrol.
Super low miles! Currently on 49,755 but will increase slightly as still in occasional use. MOT valid until 1st September 2024.
We've had 'bug' for the last two years and done nearly 18,000 miles in which time it's been serviced 3 times. It's had four previous owners, but the last two were and elderly gentleman and then his wife who between them had it for a very long time and didn't do many miles.
We have the original paperwork, handbook and owners manual and some service history. V5 present in my name.
Sadly it isn't ULEZ compliant. And as such, we bought another car which is ULEZ compliant and for the last few months have just used bug for short journeys. We had planned on keeping the beetle as my wife really likes it but we just aren't using it enough to justify keeping it, so we've decided to sell it.
It's got 4 goodyear efficient grip tyres on. The rears have plenty of life but the fronts are closer to needing to be replaced. The traction control light has been on since we bought the car but doesn't affect the driving and hasn't caused any issue with MOT. Heated seats don't work but the air con is ice cold.
It's a good little automatic run about and great fun. It does have a lot scuffs and scratches but doesn't look too bad from 10ft. The headlining started sagging so we pinned it up with one of those DIY button kits.
