For the musician who has everything...This is a really unusual item that would look very nice as a wall hanging (horizontal or vertical) in a music room.  Life size 36 key keyboard (non-functional).  I have no idea what this was originally intended for.  Perhaps to practice fingering?  So I am calling it FOLK ART.  It measures 20" x 6".  The materials and patina indicate that it was from the 1930s or 1940s...but that's just a guess.  The base is a thin (3/16") plywood.  The white keys appear to be some sort of printed paper.  The black keys look like wood carved to match the shape of black piano keys.  Then it appears the whole thing got a coating of shellac, which has yellowed a little with age.
